Hiya folks!

My name is Jennifer Shreve and I am from Knoxville, TN! I am 17 and will be 18 in about a month and a half- and graduating from Grace Christian Academy in May. I am the Student Campus Pastor of my high school and head of the chapel planning and outreach ministry of our school. I absolutely love my high school and know that I have put in work over the past 4 years that has pushed my school to a new height in our spiritual walk as a community and school. I am going to Lee University as a Global Missions major next fall. 

I mooch off my parents occasionally lol, but for the most part I have worked 2 different jobs during the school year and another job during the summer. I worked the past two summers for 12 weeks at a camp for 4 year olds to seniors in high school as a counselor and a support staff and ran games and ropes courses. I also worked for 2 weeks with mentally and physically disabled adults from my 28 year old camper to my oldest of 86. I loved every part of that experience and will never forget what the Lord taught me about unity and working together as a unified body for the purpose of building the kingdom. 

I am involved in a great community here in Knoxville and have prayer or worship to some extent at least 5 nights a week and am blessed to lead the study or worship for a few of them. I have played competitive softball since I was 4 and had my first travel team when I was 8. I recieved 5 scholarship offers last year as a junior, but decided that sports had become a big roadblock in my vision of Christ and I chose to turn down the offers and spend more time investing in the spiritual growth of my school and family. I love music and play quite a few instruments and am in a competitive choir and will be competing in Epcott this spring. I love camping and climbing! I am not a fan of fish- eating or swimming, but I love swimming! Oh, I am a nerd- I have a 4.2 and needless to say a force to be reckoned with in Scholar's Bowl competitions and debates. I am a suck up at school and well it has turned out pretty well for me lol

I have been on 0 mission trips besides a week in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina and am both pumped and nervous about my first out of the country trip. God very clearly showed me the door to go on this trip and has opened my eyes and heart to cry out for a place that I have never been- to fight for something that I don't know anything about and I couldn't be more excited.
