Hello future friends! 

I just wanted to let you guys know a little bit about me before we meet for training camp in 8 days. Wow! I meant to do this blog like 2 weeks ago, so I guess this exemplifies the fact that I am by nature a procrastinator. haha. Well here are some other facts about me. I am from a small town in West Virginia. (Yes guys, West Virgina is actually a state, however small and unnoticed we might me.) haha I go to college at WVU and will be a senior this upcoming year, majoring in Speech Pathology.  I love my major and the ability it gives me to help people. One day I hope to use it on the mission field if God leads me in that direction.  This is my first mission trip overseas, and will actually be first time flying also. So I guess I'm really grabbing the bull by the horns by going on a 2 month trip and a 12 hour plane ride. haha. But honestly, I've let God lead me on every part of this journey so I know this trip is exactly where He wants me. He has already shown me amazing things through this trip and we haven't even left yet! I can barely wait to see how He is going to reveal Himself in Uganda. I am an open book, ready to be in awe of our King's power, love, and compassion while serving "the least of these". Some other random facts about me are; I love photography, painting, and pretty much any type of art. I also love horseback riding, coffee, funny people, worshipping God, music, and having deep meaningful conversations. Enough about me, I can't wait to meet you all! I'm praying for your guys, I know God is going to use our teams to accomplish great things for His glory! :)
