First off, I'm sorry my iPhone won't let me add a pic to this blog and it's all I have to blog with. Anywho...

My name is David Stothart (add me on facebook), and I am stoked to have the opportunity to help lead this trip! I was on the January 2010 World Race and I am changed because of it. I hope you guys will be able to look back on this trip in the same way. I'm full of stories, so just ask!

I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 30th 1985. After highschool I wanted to be a psychologist but God had other plans. After being in and out of college for 3 years I felt the call to international missions. I had no idea how it was going to happen though as I was no closer to a degree than when I started. Enter the World Race. God used this to break the box I had put Him in. In that year I saw so many things that our God can do. Healing, exorcism, you name it God did it! I was also brought through some huge struggles in my life and discipled as well. Simply put I found freedom through all this. In fact giving others freedom is the thing that drives me.

On a less serious note, things I love: one-on-one's, worship (who doesn't right?), hamburgers, junk food, encouragement (giving and recieving), zombie movies, camping, Cambodia, Africa, community, Telling and hearing stories, and short lists ;) I'll let you guys figure out all the other things that make me, me. Think of it as a scavenger hunt! (love those too)
